Point and change

Click that face or that hole, say one sentence — nothing else moves

What this actually means

  • Click a face on the model and say 「3 mm outward here」. That is what changes. No hunting for the right line of code.
  • Face provenance survives the pipeline: after a cut or a boolean, that hole's wall still knows which face it is.
  • Before and after sit side by side so the difference is obvious — one click to discard it.
  • You can also scope it to one part: everything else is explicitly out of bounds, so nothing gets 「helpfully」 optimised away.

Common questions

Will it change things I did not ask about?
With a selection, edits are confined to the part you pointed at. That is deliberate: the rest of the model is usually something you already tuned, and 「while I was in there」 edits are the worst kind.
Can I undo a bad edit?
Yes. Every step is in the history, and you can compare before/after before accepting.
Why can I not click the face I want?
It is probably behind another one — orbit the view, or click it in the structure tree on the left. Hole walls usually need a side view.
